What are we looking for?

Our office in Santiago is looking for a UX Web Designer. As part of GHD’s digital team in Santiago, Chile, the User Experience Designer plays a critical role in shaping digital products and creating user-centered experiences that are intuitive, accessible, visually appealing, and efficient. This role is responsible for enhancing the overall experience across key touchpoints in the digital journey by understanding user needs, conducting research, and designing interfaces that meet those needs. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product owners, developers, and graphic designers, to create seamless and engaging user experiences. Candidates must be local as this is a hybrid position.

Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to comprehend requirements and user needs.
• Conduct thorough user research and usability testing to gather insights and identify areas for enhancement.
• Create user personas, user flows, and journey maps to guide design decisions.
• Produce wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes to effectively communicate design concepts.
• Design platform agnostic digital experiences to provide an optimal experience regardless of access point (desktop, mobile, tablet).
• Iterate on designs based on feedback from stakeholders and user testing.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure the successful implementation of designs.

What you will bring to the team:

• Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Knowledge of front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JS, React etc.) is a plus.
• Demonstrated 4+ years of experience in UX/UI design, preferably with a focus on B2B.
• Showcase a strong portfolio highlighting your design process and successful projects.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar.
• Solid understanding of usability principles, user-centered design, and UX best practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
