At Constant Contact, we're passionate about innovation, problem-solving, and the art of storytelling. A portfolio is required to be considered for this position.

This is a remote-first US position. Or, if desired, you can work in a hybrid model from one of our offices in Boston, MA, Waltham, MA, Gainesville, FL, or Loveland, CO. Whatever you need to be successful!

What you’ll do:

  • Writing: Craft original copy for a range of marketing materials including but not limited to video scripts, display ads, social media posts, email campaigns, swag items, and experiential marketing initiatives.
  • Research and ideation: Pursue a deep understanding of Constant Contact’s product, brand, audience, and competitive landscape, and use that knowledge to contribute fresh creative ideas intended to support defined business objectives.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with designers and video producers to seamlessly marry text with visuals, actively participate in brainstorming sessions to foster creative collaboration, and partner with stakeholders across the business to ensure creative work aligns with business objectives. Have a desire to be part of a culture of continual feedback, iteration, and improvement.
  • Editing and optimization: Edit and fact-check copy generated by colleagues, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and adherence to brand guidelines. Have a foundational understanding of copywriting best practices across various digital marketing channels, how to apply style rules, and how to align copy to a defined brand voice. Be able to apply those best practices during the copy editing process.
  • Project management: Manage multiple copywriting projects simultaneously, with guidance from senior team members, and be able to deliver work on time based on agreed deadlines.
  • Copy performance monitoring: Assist in copy-related creative testing, and have a genuine interest in understanding how our copy is performing against its intended objectives. Have a willingness to learn about and contribute to data gathering and reporting that can inform and improve our copy.
  • Professional development: Stay up-to-date on best-in-class advertising campaigns, creative trends, and industry news, and share insights with the team to foster a culture of learning and growth. Continually develop your position as a champion of stand-out, high-quality copy across the business.
