Who we are looking for:

Due to continuing growth in our Rail/Transit practice, we are seeking a Project Director, Transit Infrastructure. This position will be integral in the development and growth of GHD's Transit / Rail practice.

Responsibilities:

• Leading multi-disciplinary teams for preliminary and detail design transit facility projects for municipal clients as a Project Manager or Project Director.
• Taking ownership for all aspects of the management of projects from proposal to close-out, including managing teams, sub-consultants, budgets, schedule, quality, safety, and client satisfaction.
• Interfaces with GHD Design and design team (potentially located internationally)
• Accountable to contractor questions, reviews shop drawings and attends sites during construction as required
• Prepare, track and administer project budgets
• Liaises with clients, participates in business development and promotional activities for the company.

What You will bring to the team:

• P. Eng or Registered Architect in Ontario
• Be accredited with PMP certification (or working towards)
• Experience working for Regional Municipalities or Local Transit Agencies
• 15+ years of project management experience on multi-discipline engineering teams with experience in transit facilities, rail, stations, electrification, and signaling
• Project Delivery in an alternate project delivery (P3, DB, PDB), and experience in managing teaming arrangements with contractors and consultants

• Rail and Transit Lead in Ontario
