The City of Waterloo is hiring for a Digital and Web services Coordinator.

• Design content for Waterloo.ca, our most popular service channel with 4K+ daily users.
• Translate government-speak into plain language to help make services more accessible.
• Help build public trust in local government and learn how things work behind-the-scenes.

Reporting to Supervisor, Digital and Web Services, in the Corporate Services Division, your main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Design structured HTML web content per the Waterloo.ca style guide.
• Convert technical documents and processes into plain language.
• Build online intake forms and convert paper-based services into digital formats.
• Assist in the design, testing and implementation new digital services.
• Monitor analytics, quality assurance and user feedback channels.
• Ensure compliance with online accessibility legislation.
• Run user consultation and internal training sessions.
• Provide support for the overall digital services program.
• Other duties as assigned.
